The Emerald Charitable Foundation donated a new batch of equipment for the operating theatre of the Traumatology Department at Odesa Children’s City Clinical Hospital No. 3.
For a long time, limited funding and a lack of the necessary instruments prevented trauma surgeons from performing certain operations. Experienced surgeons were forced to limit their work to stabilising the condition of young patients.
Thanks to the modern surgical instruments purchased with funds from the Foundation, the department will be able to perform a wide range of orthopaedic and trauma operations — without large incisions, through small punctures, with less pain, fewer risks and faster recovery for children.
The total value of the assistance provided amounted to UAH 250,000.
