At the request of Odesa Clinical Hospital on Railway Transport, the Emerald Charitable Foundation donated a BRAINTEST 24 electroencephalography system to the neurology department.
The electroencephalograph makes it possible to detect abnormalities in brain activity in a timely manner, monitor changes in patients’ conditions and improve the quality of medical care.
Previously, the hospital did not have its own electroencephalograph, and patients had to be referred to private clinics, which complicated the treatment process and created an additional financial burden.
Importantly, together with the electroneuromyograph previously donated by the Foundation, the new equipment makes it possible to perform comprehensive neurological examinations directly in the department — quickly, systematically and free of charge for patients.
