Every day, the intensive care unit staff at Children’s City Clinical Hospital No. 3 saves children in critical condition. Until recently, they did not have a device that could help maintain the body temperature of their young patients.
Instead of the specialized equipment used in clinics abroad, our doctors used ordinary household heaters and wrapped the children with bottles of warm water.
At the hospital’s request, we purchased a modern Bair Hugger warming system and a set of thermal mattresses and blankets with a total cost of UAH 111,137.
Now children receive stable thermal support during operations and in the intensive care unit.
This is a modern warming system from a leading American manufacturer that helps maintaining optimal body temperature during surgery and in intensive care units, reducing risks and giving patients a chance to recover.
This assistance was made possible thanks to charitable donations from Porsche in Ukraine — Emerald Sportcar and Emerald Motors.
